Cannoli

A sweet pastry dessert item, Cannoli Siciliani are tube-shaped pastry shells that are filled with a variety of cream fillings. The most famous filling is the traditional sweetened ricotta filling, however a variety of flavours and fillings are used. The ends of the freshly stuffed cannolo are dipped into toppings such as chocolate shavings, hundreds and thousands or finey chopped candied fruits.
